Round 3 of the QLD Government grant is opening soon for eligible Southern Downs businesses and can be used for Website builds, upgrades, new features and other digital services.

Round 3 of the Business Basics Grant available from the Queensland Government will soon be open for eligible Southern Downs businesses.
The grant can be used to get a new website, upgrade an existing one or add new features such as online shopping and payments.
We are accepting requests for quotes in support of grant applications and have worked with many clients across the region who have successfully received previous Digital & Business grants from the Queensland Government.
If you are looking to get a new website or upgrade an existing one, this is a fantastic chance to get the costs covered by the grant, we will fully support and work with you throughout the application process.
If you do not need any website or marketing services, you can also receive other services such as training, coaching and other business support services.
The Business Basics Grants Forum has a fixed grant payment of $5,000.00 excluding GST for the following eligible activities:
Training and coaching
- Business development, marketing, human resources or business planning topics
- Training or coaching
Website build or upgrades
- Website build or upgrade (including website refresh)
- Adding e-commerce
- Developing new website content
Professional business advice
- Business plans
Strategic marketing services
- Strategic marketing plans including search engine optimisation advice
Business continuity and succession
- Business continuity or succession plans
- Cybersafety training and tools
Eligibility criteria for the Business Basics Grants Program:
- not have been approved for funding under Round 1 or Round 2 of the Business Basics Grants program
- have fewer than 20 employees (by head count) at the time of applying for the grant
- have an active Australian Business Number (ABN) and be registered for GST
- have a Queensland headquarters, and be based in regional Queensland
- have a turnover of $300,000 or less for the last financial year (2020–21)
- have owners or directors that are not insolvent or an undischarged bankrupt.
The application window closes as soon as sufficient applications for a competitive assessment have been received or early on 16th May 2022 – whichever occurs first. As to not miss out it is recommended applications be submitted as soon as possible at 9am as round 1 closed within 1 hour of opening. All applications have to include a certified statutory declaration responding to the eligibility criteria, activity proposal, and supplier quote/s (no more than two).
